The key technologies and applications of Beidou navigation in intelligent traffic control are part of the next-generation information technology sector. This project integrates multiple disciplines, including communication technology, electronic information technology. The artificial intelligence, with the aim of enhancing urban intelligent management through technological innovation. Constructing a self-sufficient and efficient intelligent traffic control system is essential for advancing urban intelligent management and has profound implications for promoting the national “smart city” strategy.

Prior to this project, intelligent traffic control systems faced issues such as a lack of autonomy in satellite technology. Low levels of intelligence, insufficient prediction accuracy, and poor computational efficiency, which severely hindered urban traffic development. In response to the significant demand for intelligent traffic control driven by public welfare, low-carbon travel, and smart cities, this project has established. This project also has developed a technological system and industry for intelligent traffic control based Beidou navigation. Through algorithm research, technological breakthroughs, equipment development, and standard formulation can achieve the project target.
