Audible Pedestrian Signal
Audible Pedestrian Signal (APS) pairs with pedestrian traffic lights. It plays synced voice prompts to guide visually impaired pedestrians at crossings.
To start with, this APS draws power directly from traffic light wiring. It supports timed volume adjustment and automatic night mute. You can also update voice files as needed.
Flexible & Customizable Settings
Next, this Audible Pedestrian Signal (APS) fits different project needs with adjustable parameters. For one thing, red light, green light and flashing green light have separate audio modes. Each mode can be set to mute, single trigger or cyclic trigger. The flashing green countdown uses an independent audio channel. Besides that, optional extras include GPS timing and ambient noise detection. Its custom network interface enables remote control and real-time status monitoring.
Optimized Audio Performance
First of all, the Audible Pedestrian Signal (APS) delivers targeted directional sound. At the same time, it cuts extra sound leakage around the intersection. Then, the APS automatically tunes volume based on ambient noise. As a result, visually impaired pedestrians hear prompts clearly, without extra noise pollution. Moreover, this APS supports custom alert tones. What’s more, it works on preset audio schedules to meet local noise regulations.
Reliable Outdoor Build & Simple Integration
On top of that, the Audible Pedestrian Signal (APS) uses UV-resistant PC housing with IP53 rating. So it stands against dust and splashing water outdoors. Last but not least, it links smoothly with standard pedestrian signal systems. This way, on-site installation and system integration stay easy.
